Step One: Popcorn Anyone?

We are starting the remodel in the downstairs part of the house. It needed the most help and is where we were going to settle.

We began our "little" project by removing the popcorn ceilings...it was awful. You could touch it and it would flake everywhere. So Rod and I sported the respirators and scraped the ceiling in the kitchen, living room, hall, and master bedroom...for 8 hours...it felt like a lifetime...a really crappy one.

But it got finished.
